In 1999, Montréal Tennis Lambda joined the ranks of the "Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA)", and the Coupe de la Reine then took on an international scope. Offering singles and doubles matches as well as a consolation round for players who lost their first singles match, this tennis tournament is the high point of a busy summer season. And every year, the event supports a community organization dedicated to the realities of the LGBTQ community.
