Otakuthon anime festival

Anime stars and their fans come together at Otakuthon, the second-largest event of its kind in Canada, with its characters and storylines from cutting-edge Japanese anime, manga and games. Otakuthon transforms the Palais des congrès de Montréal into a fantasy world with an exhibition area, stars to meet, a manga library, a game room, and a series of talks and workshops by artists, actors and experts. Character impersonation (cosplay) plays a major role; thousands of fans dress up.
