Montréal Alliance is the ninth franchise in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). It plays at the Verdun Auditorium. This recently renovated venue is ideal for allowing Montréal fans to watch top-level Canadian professional basketball, presented by one of the best FIBA leagues in the world. Quebec thus becomes the fifth province to host a CEBL team, in what is the first true national professional basketball league from coast to coast in Canada. The team’s nickname was chosen to reflect the mosaic of Montréal’s boroughs and communities that come together and form an alliance when it comes to supporting their local sports teams.
