Festival Fierté Montréal

Since 2007, Montréal has hosted the largest 2SLGBTQIA+ gathering in the Francophonie. For 11 days, more than 750 000 people — members, allies, and allies of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities — converge on outdoor sites and the Village to celebrate progress in the defence of 2SLGBTQIA+ rights. Festival Fierté Montréal offers free shows, indoor activities, films, festive evenings, literature, and much more! It raises public awareness of queer community issues by organizing workshops, panels, and two Community Days. The flagship event, the flamboyant Pride Parade, attracts more than 15 000 participants, and a crowd of over 300 000 people.
