JOAT international street dance festival

The JOAT Festival is driven by street dance culture as a cultural and social force. Its program includes a multitude of activities and brings together more than 250 artists who immerse you in the world of street dance: top-level battles, breaking, hip-hop, popping, krump, beatmakers, youth battles, street dance introductory workshops, master classes, and an exhibition. Launched by Handy “HYA” Yacinthe, a pioneer of popping dance in Quebec and an influential figure in the street dance scene here and elsewhere, this festival is a chance to discover Afro-American dances that have become popular around the world.
