“Évangéline” is a musical historical fresco with a modern touch. A young Acadian woman separated from her fiancé, Gabriel, during the Deportation of the Acadians in the 18th century, she is driven from her village and spends years travelling North America in hopes of finding him again. Despite the hardships and the passing of time, she remains faithful to her love.
