The exhibition “Greece of Heroes. In the Time of Troy” shines a light on one of the great adventure stories: the Trojan War, Homer’s heroes and the gods of Olympus, amid human passions and divine clashes. The exhibition goes back to the origins of the myth and highlights its lasting influence on the Greek imagination and on many cultures. Nearly 400 authentic objects are brought together here, several of them on view for the first time in North America.
