Sports Cyclovia - Camillien-Houde Road

The sports Cyclovia takes over Camillien-Houde Road and turns the route into a car-free space dedicated to biking, running, and walking. On 19 dates, 14 Sunday mornings and 5 Wednesday evenings, the stretch between avenue du Mont-Royal and Maison Smith is reserved for active transportation. During these periods, vehicle traffic is prohibited, while access to the mountain and the cemetery is maintained. A free shuttle runs every 30 minutes, and access by car to the summit remains possible via Remembrance Road.

A legacy of the 1980 international Floralies, the site brings together themed gardens inspired by countries around the world, paths, bodies of water, and works of art. Nearby, the Mosaïcultures feature large-scale horticultural works, while pedal boat and kayak rentals make it possible to explore the gardens from the canals. Les Mosaïcultures

The Mosaïcultures are permanently settling at the heart of the Jardins des Floralies, at parc Jean-Drapeau, with three monumental works integrated into an open-air art trail. Made up of nearly half a million flowers and plants, “La Terre Mère,” “L’homme qui plantait des arbres” and “les six paires de YY” are set in an environment that is both natural and urban. This immersion in horticultural art showcases living things and invites observation, reflection and wonder, in a place accessible to all audiences.
